I just received a little more information from the PGA about tickets for the 2012 Ryder Cup:
Thank you for your interest in tickets for the 2012 Ryder Cup. As we begin allowing people to sign up for the random draw, you will be among the first general public groups notified in the late spring/early summer of 2011. If you fail to get tickets from the official draw, don’t worry as tickets will be on sale via reputable ticket agencies, so anyone that wants to attend the Ryder Cup should be able to.
