What to look for
Be wary of anyone replying and asking you:
a) to remove the listing because they want it
b) offering to pay by check in the last few weeks before the tournament – remember checks can take 30 days or more to fully clear and forged checks are commonly used by scammers
c) NEVER accept a check from someone who wants to send you more than your asking price and then asks you to transfer the balance to someone else (travel agent, car hire, etc) – these are ALWAYS SCAMS
d) Ryder Cup Rental Accommodation does not vet owners or prospective renters. In both cases it is your responsibility to do your own due diligence before entering into a rental agreement.
Tenancy Agreement and deposit
Ryder Cup Rental Accommodation does not supply you with a tenancy contract or handle deposits. We suggest that you consult your attorney or realtor for advise on appropriate agreements and terms & conditions.
